Neither snow nor rain...

...nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.

It seems neither does lack of night. I received an unexpected parcel from a friend stationed down in Antarctica. For a mere $6.05, the USPS delivered this nice beer glass from Gallagher's Pub in McMurdo Station and a postcard all the way from the bottom of the world. Not a bad deal.

(Note: It seems the above "motto" is actually not the official motto of the US Postal Service. It just happens to be on the Post Office building on 8th Ave. and 33rd St. in New York. Another perfectly useless fact to add to my collection.)
