In preparation for my cross-country drive back to California - and in truth, the only preparation that's been done so far - I finally picked up a digital SLR this week along with a super wide lens. I thought that the fancyish camera and the fancyish lens would automatically equal fancyish shots. Turns out no. So after a weekend of toying around, this picture of the wooden waiter is the only interesting shot I managed to get.
